About the Role LondonEnergy (LEL) is seeking a proactive and safety-focused Site Supervisor to support the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our on-site facilities.
Based at our newest waste facility in Edmonton, Reporting into the Operations Management team, this junior management role is responsible for supervising shift teams, ensuring operational targets are met, and maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
This is a hands-on, on-site position working a rotating shift pattern including days and nights.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational continuity, supporting team performance, and driving a strong safety culture across the site.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate site operations during assigned shifts, ensuring safe and efficient plant performance Lead, support, and motivate operational teams to meet production and performance targets Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements Monitor plant and equipment performance, escalating issues and coordinating corrective actions as required Conduct shift briefings, toolbox talks, and incident reporting in line with company procedures Support maintenance activities and planned shutdowns to minimise operational disruption Maintain accurate operational records and provide clear handovers between shifts Requirements Previous experience in a supervisory role within an industrial, energy, waste, or heavy process environment Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practice Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced operational setting Excellent communication and decision-making skills Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends Current driving licence and hold the required competency certificate for operating mobile plant.
