About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join LondonEnergy, based at our new site that has opened at the EcoPark. Your role will be to carry out the repairs and maintenance work on all mechanical and electrical equipment, to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant and equipment, Monday – Friday.

  • Responsible for the complete overhaul, maintenance and repair of any mechanical/electrical equipment at any of LondonEnergy Limited’s sites, including the lubrication of such equipment.
  • This may involve pipe fitting, plumbing and, subject to suitable training, disconnect and reconnect motors, solenoids and coils up to 415V to aid in the completion of work and test and replace fuses (like for like) up to 415V.
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs without supervision during the normal working day and when on callout duty.
  • Maintaining in good order a comprehensive range of Technician’s tools.
  • Participating in the training of staff and undertaking training necessary for completing the role fully.
  • Comprehensively completing appropriate documents as deemed necessary by the RRF Maintenance Lead.
  • Inspecting and supervising work carried out by Contractors when directed by the Lead.

The role demands immediate action in response to plant failures, often requiring working outside regular hours. Ensuring the safest, fastest, and most effective repairs is critical, whether through callouts or overtime. Technicians will also need to work in confined spaces and at height.

You must have your NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering. Direct experience in the repair, maintenance and overhaul of the following plant is desirable:

  • Pumps
  • Fans
  • Effluent Treatment plants (ETP)
  • Compressors
  • Fire Protection systems
  • SCARDA
  • BMS
  • D365 maintenance system

The ability to digitally control work orders.
