Working within Bexley's Housing Allocations, we are looking for a driven individual to join a team of officers responsible for the Council's social housing register and the administration of the Choice Based Lettings system. A knowledge of current Housing Legislation and the local Allocations policy is desirable, however, we are happy to consider people with transferable experience.
If you have worked in advice services, customer focused roles, social care, the voluntary sector, local government, or any role where you support people through complex situations, we would love to hear from you. Strong administration and communication skills, empathy, problem solving, and a willingness to learn are just as important as direct housing experience. - Customer orientated in the delivery of the service and the ability to be pro‑active, solution focused with the willingness to adapt to change and contribute ideas.
