This is an on-site, full time role based in Leyton. Our Support Workers are responsible for providing day-to-day support for individuals with disabilities, facilitating activities and skills development. Support workers ensure the well-being of the individuals under their care in a safe, nurturing and welcoming environment. You’ll be part of a friendly team and will be expected to work flexibly across the service to ensure client needs are met.
Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience in supporting adults with learning and associated disabilities
- Ability to work well in a team
- Ability to use own initiative to respond to client’s needs
- GCSE grade C (4) or above in English and Maths
- Level 2 Health and Social Care (or equivalent) would be an added bonus
