London's premier hot yoga group is looking for its next great studio manager. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity, with fantastic opportunities for development and progression in an internationally expanding company.

Location: 200 Regents Park Road, London NW1 8BE. Leave at Chalk Farm & Kentish Town West.

Number of days: 32 hours per week, permanent role. Some weekend and evenings are required and flexibility is necessary.

Job Purpose: You will be in charge of all the day-to-day running of the business, customer service, facilities management, revenue and profit growth, and managing a team of part-time receptionists, assisted by an Assistant Manager.

The ideal candidate will have previous management experience in either leisure, hospitality, retail, or health and fitness. We're looking for the right person to join our team of managers. Energetic, solution-focused, ready to get stuck in and be flexible, all while keeping an eye on driving revenue and growth for the business.

Previous customer service experience at management level is necessary, as is some experience with budgeting, P&L, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Drive revenue growth through proactive membership and sales management
  • Deliver a high standard of customer care
  • Manage a team of part-time receptionists to ensure the daily operation of the studios happens effectively and efficiently
  • Oversee the spending and budget management of the business in partnership with the General Manager
  • Manage the maintenance of the venue and facilities
  • Manage compliance with relevant safety and regulatory policies
  • Retail and in-house stock management

KPIs:

  • Revenue growth against target
  • Net membership growth
  • Package sales against target
  • Cost management within budget

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 1-2 years management experience in leisure, health & fitness, hospitality, and/or retail sectors
  • Demonstrable experience managing a team
  • Demonstrable knowledge of P&L, budgeting, and cost management

Desirable:

  • MindBodyOnline experience
  • Facilities management
  • First aid trained
  • Fire warden or fire safety trained
  • Google Drive experience
