About the role
The Patient Engagement Officer will oversee all aspects of donor recruitment, screening and qualifying potential donors according to the established protocols. The role is customer centric and the ability to communicate well and empathise with donors is of paramount importance. As a leading provider of private fertility services we require candidates to have outstanding interpersonal skills and be comfortable with communicating with donors over the phone, face to face as well as via written communication. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a mature attitude to work and a willingness to work in a challenging but rewarding environment whilst offering exceptional customer care at all times.
Job Specification
- Manage the end-to-end egg donor journey, from initial enquiry through to onboarding and ongoing engagement.
- Respond to enquiries in a timely and professional manner via phone, email, and in person.
- Screen and assess potential egg donors in line with clinical, genetic, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate patient onboarding, including interviews, consent, medical screening, and appointments.
- Maintain accurate records across internal systems, ensuring compliance with HFEA and clinic standards.
- Work closely with clinical teams and external providers to support donor cycles and programme delivery.
- Build strong relationships with patients, supporting engagement, retention, and a positive experience.
- Support donor recruitment and engagement initiatives, including events, outreach, and campaigns.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
- Experience in recruitment, sales, healthcare, or a customer-facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathetic, patient-focused approach with a high level of professionalism.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and a team player.
- Experience with CRM/patient systems (desirable).
- Healthcare or fertility experience and additional languages (desirable).
Up to £500 monthly performance bonus (dependant on targets achieved).
