About London Women’s Clinic is a leading private fertility clinic delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a patient-centred environment. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Fertility Nurse Sonographer to join our multidisciplinary clinical team.

The role

As a Fertility Nurse Sonographer at LWC, you will manage a clinical caseload and provide safe, high-quality nursing care across the fertility treatment pathway. Working closely with consultants, embryology, nursing, and wider teams, you will ensure care is delivered in line with LWC SOPs and HFEA requirements, while contributing to clinical governance and service improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, individualised nursing care within a regulated fertility setting
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinic policies and HFEA guidance
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic and tracking scans
  • Perform clinical observations and procedures
  • Provide Phlebotomy services
  • Advocate for patients and escalate concerns appropriately
  • Maintain a safe, clean and well-stocked clinical environment
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to ensure excellent patient care

Experience:

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Midwife with a valid NMC PIN
  • At least 2 years of nursing experience, NMC registered and be trained as a fertility nurse.
  • At least 2 years of scanning experience
  • Phlebotomy experience (desired not essential)
  • Excellent communication / interpersonal skills
  • Precise time management skills
  • Robust organisational skills
  • Ability to work under instruction and autonomously within scope of practice
  • Excellent administrative and record-keeping skills
