This is a hands-on, learning-led role ideal for a graduate or early-career marketer who is eager to build experience across social media, email marketing and brand activations. You’ll be trusted with real responsibility from day one, supported closely by the Founder, and given the opportunity to grow as the business grows. Your primary focus will be social media content execution - managing London Velvet’s Instagram, with ambition to expand into TikTok and Pinterest as the brand scales. You’ll also gain exposure to email marketing (Klaviyo), SEO, PR, event support, and brand partnerships, contributing across the business as you build capability. This is perfect for someone who wants to learn fast, work closely with a founder, and grow into a more senior marketing role over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media (Primary Focus)
- Execute London Velvet’s social content strategy across Instagram (and future platforms like TikTok & Pinterest)
- Plan, schedule and post content in line with brand guidelines, product launches and seasonal campaigns
- Create engaging behind-the-scenes content: lifestyle shots, user-generated content (UGC), product photography
- Help create authentic brand content that reflects the behind-the-scenes, lifestyle and UGC aesthetic
- Engage with the community through comments, DMs and stories - building genuine relationships with followers
- Support filming days, shoots and content creation
- Create newsletter campaigns in line with product launches and monthly updates (templates already created)
- Support copywriting in a warm, founder-led tone
- Help analyse campaign performance and learn from results
- Support pop-ups, events and in-person brand activations
- Assist with launches, collaborations and partnerships
- Help maintain the marketing calendar
- Support day-to-day marketing tasks as needed
About You
- A recent graduate or early-career marketer - passionate about social media, content and luxury brands
- Organised and detail-obsessed - comfortable working independently within clear guidelines and frameworks
- Strong written communication skills - you’ll be crafting captions, email copy and community responses that feel warm, founder-led and on-brand
- A natural eye for what looks good and brand-relevant - you understand aesthetics and can recognise content that feels authentic
- Confident, curious and keen to learn - this is a role where you’ll be trusted to take ownership and grow quickly
- Proactive problem-solver - comfortable working in a fast-moving, founder-led environment where things change quickly
- Experience with Instagram (essential) - TikTok and Pinterest a bonus
- Creative Writing Skills essential - ability to write engaging, on-brand copy for social and email
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, founder-led environment where flexibility and initiative matter.
