Senior Renewable Energy Underwriter

This is an exciting opportunity to help lead a Renewable Energy & Alternative Energy Underwriting unit that focuses on driving growth in energy transition technologies by developing industry specialism across lines of business. The client base includes developers and operators of renewable power assets, alternative fuel assets, the power grid, energy storage, and other transition technologies. The successful candidate will have strong technical underwriting skills, experience in traditional energy/power and renewable energy/alternative fuel risks, and the ability to work closely with risk engineers.

The role is varied and wide-ranging in terms of responsibilities as it involves developing new products, providing training, and mentoring. Required skills include strong underwriting experience, extensive knowledge of the Energy and Power sector, and portfolio management capabilities.
