Excellent opportunity opens for a highly motivated Project Manager to lead a digital transformation project. This role will drive technology-enabled change, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience by overseeing the implementation of modern digital solutions. You will work cross-functionally with IT, operations, compliance, and business units to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Plan and manage digital transformation projects, from initiation through execution and delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, risk assessments, change requests, and resource allocations.
- Maintain regular project reporting across the full stakeholder group.
- Chair project steering committees and technical project meetings.
- Set clear project plan goals and objectives, defining roles and producing schedules and timelines for tasks.
- Drive and support business case development with key stakeholders.
- Coordinate change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and tools by staff and customers.
- Manage conflicting priorities and project activities within the stakeholder group, taking the lead on decision making where required to ensure adherence to the project plan.
- Manage key suppliers, including contracts and negotiations.
Qualification & Experience:
- Degree educated preferred.
- Minimum 3 years overall experience with a substantial percentage of experience obtained within financial services.
- Previous experience in a project role in the Banking industry is essential and certification in project methodology (Prince2 / PMP, APM, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma etc.) would be an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of delivery experience with strong business value creation skills.
- Knowledge of banking business/products/operations and IT system development life cycle.
- Must have experience implementing or delivering change to payment and loan services.
- Experience working across business and IT.
- Experience of managing delivery from multiple third parties.
- Experience of leading projects with minimal support and supervision.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Ability to work effectively on multiple, concurrent, or competing projects.
- Highly competent in using planning tools and experienced in implementing and operating financial control frameworks.
