Seeking an Analyst/Junior Associate with 3 - 5 years full‑time M&A experience (post internship).
Responsibilities include:
- Financial modelling, valuations, deal execution, due diligence, market research, and preparing client materials.
- Assist in the execution of M&A and capital-raising transactions, including buy‑side, sell‑side, and growth investment mandates.
- Support the preparation of marketing materials (IMs, teasers, management presentations, investor decks).
- Conduct detailed company, industry, and competitor research to support transaction rationale and valuation.
- Participate in due diligence processes, coordinating information requests and reviewing financial and operational data.
- Build and maintain financial models including three‑statement models, LBO analyses, valuation models (DCF, trading comps, transaction comps).
- Analyse company performance, financial KPIs, and key value drivers relevant to technology businesses (ARR, churn, CAC, LTV, revenue cohorts, etc.).
- Assist in the preparation of valuation materials and internal investment memos.
- Conduct deep‑dive research into technology sectors (e.g., SaaS, cybersecurity, cloud, fintech, AI, IT services).
- Track market trends, competitive landscapes, M&A activity, and investment themes.
- Compile insights into concise reports for internal strategy discussions and external client meetings.
- Support portfolio monitoring, metric tracking, and quarterly reporting.
- Assist in operational and commercial analyses of portfolio companies.
- Prepare materials for Investment Committee reviews.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong academic background in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to interpret financial statements and build robust financial models (training can be provided).
- Strong research skills and interest in technology sectors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, proactive work ethic, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
