The Opportunity
As part of our growth strategy, we are establishing LTC North, covering Scotland and Northern England. We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead market entry, grow client relationships and help establish LTC as a leading tower crane partner in the region. This is a rare opportunity to play a foundational role in a new regional division, with full backing from LTC head office and operational support from our existing depots.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional business development strategy for Scotland & Northern England
- Build strong relationships with Tier 1 & Tier 2 contractors, developers and consultants
- Identify, pursue and manage tender opportunities
- Promote LTC’s tower crane solutions and engineering capability
- Help establish a regional office presence in Scotland
- Support fleet growth planning in line with secured work
- Represent LTC at client meetings, industry events and site visits
- Provide market intelligence to support strategic growth decisions
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in tower crane hire, heavy lifting, or specialist plant rental
- Strong existing network across Scotland and/or Northern England
- Demonstrated success in winning and developing long‑term client accounts
- Commercially astute with a strong understanding of construction procurement
- Self‑starter comfortable working autonomously in a regional role
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
