Director of Maths – Ilford
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Director of Maths to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Ilford on a permanent basis. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Maths who can lead a high-performing department, drive standards, and inspire outstanding teaching and learning across KS3–KS5. Role Details:
- Start date: ASAP (or negotiable)
- Contract: Permanent
- Salary: £50,000–£72,000 (depending on experience and leadership scale)
- Full-time position
- Leading Maths across KS3–KS5
What the role involves:
- Strategic leadership of the Maths department
- Supporting, developing and line-managing Maths teachers
- Overseeing curriculum, assessment, and raising attainment
- Ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across all key stages
- Contributing to whole-school improvement and leadership initiatives

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong experience teaching Maths across KS3–KS5
