A secondary school in Slough is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Biology Teacher to join their team from January. This is a temporary position running until July, teaching Biology across KS3 and KS4.
Biology Teacher – The Role
As a Biology Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ scientific knowledge, practical skills and understanding of key biological concepts.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching Biology across KS3 and KS4
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the curriculum
- Explaining biological concepts clearly and making learning accessible
- Developing students’ scientific knowledge, practical skills and analytical thinking
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining high expectations
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting students of different abilities to achieve their potential
The school is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Science teacher with strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills and the ability to engage students across KS3 and KS4. Experience teaching Biology at secondary level is desirable.
