This school is looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team working with pupils with additional needs, predominantly with Autism, with a lot of the pupils being either non-verbal or have very little verbal ability.

For this SEN Teaching Assistant's role, the school ideally would like someone with experience working with pupils with SEN in a school setting or working with children/adults with additional needs. The school would like an SEN Teaching Assistant that is ready to be stuck in, who enjoys playing, singing and being a positive influence in the pupil’s school life.

This is a full-time, temp position starting ASAP with a potential to be a permanent position within the school for the right candidate by the end of the academic year.

This is a small SEN school in Islington, catering to under 50 pupils between the ages of 3-16. This school is located close to an overground station and easily accessible from a few tube lines. The school is an SEN school catering for pupils with SEN needs such as ASD and MLD and other additional needs. The school has an extensive team that will be helping in the classrooms, making sure that each classroom is well cared for and would like more SEN Teaching Assistants to help with that.
