This school is looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team working with pupils with additional needs, predominantly with Autism, with a lot of the pupils being either non-verbal or have very little verbal ability.
For this SEN Teaching Assistant's role, the school ideally would like someone with experience working with pupils with SEN in a school setting or working with children/adults with additional needs. The school would like an SEN Teaching Assistant that is ready to be stuck in, who enjoys playing, singing and being a positive influence in the pupil’s school life.
This is a full-time, temp position starting ASAP with a potential to be a permanent position within the school for the right candidate by the end of the academic year.
This is a small SEN school in Islington, catering to under 50 pupils between the ages of 3-16. This school is located close to an overground station and easily accessible from a few tube lines. The school is an SEN school catering for pupils with SEN needs such as ASD and MLD and other additional needs.
