This remote placement is designed to help you understand how software testing works in real project environments. You will gain experience across test planning, automation, bug reporting and agile QA processes, while working through structured assignments and real-world inspired testing challenges.

What you will work on:

  • Create test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications
  • Build and run automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Cypress or Postman
  • Identify, document and prioritise defects using Jira or similar tools
  • Work through QA tasks linked to agile software delivery
  • Complete a final testing challenge, such as improving test coverage or stress-testing a system

Who this is for:

This placement is ideal for recent Master’s graduates in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related subject. You should have some knowledge of Python or Java, an understanding of SDLC/STLC, and an interest in testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG.
