Cybersecurity Operational Technology (OT) Architect We are looking for a skilled and experienced candidate to join our team as a Cybersecurity Operational Technology(OT) Architect. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure OT solutions. You will leverage your deep understanding of OT systems and cybersecurity best practices to ensure the protection of our critical infrastructure. Role and Responsiblities Design secure OT architectures that consider scalability, performance, manageability, and security requirements. Translate business needs into technical specifications for OT security solutions. Develop reference architectures for various OT environments within the organization. Lead the selection and integration of security solutions (firewalls, SIEM, Vulnerability management, intrusion detection systems, etc.) within the OT architecture. Participate in the design and implementation of secure OT network segmentation strategies. Conduct threat modeling exercises to identify potential vulnerabilities within the OT architecture. Develop and maintain OT architecture documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and deployment plans. Stay abreast of emerging OT security technologies and best practices, and integrate them into the architecture. Experience with OT architecture design methodologies (e.g., Purdue Model). Familiarity with OT automation and orchestration tools (e.g., SCADA, DCS). Understanding of industrial control system (ICS) protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3). Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems for OT environments. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus). Minimum 5+ years of experience in OT architecture or a related role. Proven experience in developing and managing OT security programs. Strong understanding of OT systems, protocols, and vulnerabilities. In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices (CISSP or equivalent certification preferred). Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles across the elements and recent technologies.
