Reporting to the Global Indirect Tax Leader, you will help develop our indirect tax strategy across EMEA (excluding the UK). We are looking for someone who can provide practical, commercially focused advice that supports business growth, compliance and effective risk management across multiple jurisdictions.
Working closely with colleagues across Finance, Legal, Commercial, Procurement and Operations, you’ll help ensure indirect tax considerations are reflected in business decisions, transformation programmes and regulatory change initiatives. Together, we’ll support the business in managing an evolving tax landscape while delivering positive commercial outcomes.
We rely on our indirect tax team to provide clear, practical advice that helps the business make informed decisions. In this role, you’ll partner with the Global Indirect Tax Leader to support indirect tax matters across EMEA, providing guidance on VAT obligations, invoicing requirements, cross-border transactions and regulatory developments.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across Finance, Legal, Commercial, Procurement and Operations to identify indirect tax considerations early and help manage risk. We’ll look to you to assess the tax impact of customer migrations, operating model changes, legal entity developments and market expansion activities.
As part of our transformation programmes, you’ll help define tax requirements, validate tax treatments and work with colleagues to ensure tax considerations are embedded within business processes and systems. Working alongside our Tax Reporting team, you’ll help maintain a strong control environment across the region.
We’ll rely on you to support compliance activities, monitor risk and contribute to effective governance. You’ll also lead engagements with tax authorities, managing audits, enquiries and disputes when they arise.
As indirect tax regulations continue to evolve, you’ll help us understand the impact of developments such as e-invoicing, digital reporting requirements and ViDA. You’ll also provide guidance on import VAT, customs matters and the cross-border movement of goods, engaging specialist advisers where needed.
We’ll also look to you to prepare clear technical guidance, documentation and training materials that help colleagues understand key tax positions and requirements.
