  • Experience covering major Continental European markets with an understanding of regional commercial dynamics and client types.
  • Extensive senior-level relationship-management experience across CIOs, Heads of Product, Portfolio Managers, and Distribution/Sales leadership within asset-management firms.
  • Employs a data-driven, targeted approach to prospecting, whitespace identification, and territory planning.
  • Able to simplify deal structures and overcome client objections to accelerate time-to-close.
  • Self-starter who brings creativity, initiative, and commercial drive to originate new opportunities and deepen existing relationships.
  • A collaborative teammate who balances firm interests and acts as a strong steward of FTSE Russell’s brand and values.

What the job involves:

  • Maintain and grow revenue within the FTSE Russell Index business across an existing book of clients, while also acting as a proactive hunter to originate and close new business opportunities.
  • Combine strong client-management capability with a commercial, sales-driven mindset to expand FTSE Russell’s footprint across both existing and new accounts.
  • End-to-end ownership of the regional territory, including both management and expansion of the assigned book as well as active prospecting and hunting for new clients and revenue streams.
  • New business generation through uncovering and converting opportunities across existing clients and net-new prospects, aligned to FTSE Russell’s strategic priorities.
  • Daily management of sales activity and pipeline within Salesforce.com.
  • Collaborate with internal leaders and cross-divisional colleagues across product, research, and client experience to deliver strategic, positive client outcomes.
  • Execute FTSE Russell’s sales strategy, focusing on long-term growth through strong client relationships and continuous market penetration across the UK and key Continental European markets.
