What the job involves
- This position is responsible for maintaining deep customer relationships to drive account revenue retention and growth.
- By collaborating with internal and external partners, the Account Manager delivers outstanding service and valuable solutions for their customers.
- The position will run a defined book of business of Growth Accounts within the UK and will be accountable for the commercial close of all deals.
- Is a senior client relationship owner for a set of large, complex, priority accounts responsible for sales and retention.
- Deep knowledge of key asset management industry trends and can share LSEG vision and how we can help client’s agenda.
- Successfully engages and executes solution selling strategy to uncover opportunities and collaborate with product sales.
- Leads the account planning and definition of key near and long term growth and retention strategies.
- Owns pipeline hygiene, accurate sales and cancel forecasting for their set of accounts, pipeline coverage tracking and path to goal analysis.
- Provides insights and recommendations on how to increase deal sizes, negotiates longer term deals and more enterprise-wide contracts; should be able to articulate cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to drive larger deals.
- Is responsible for the customer lifecycle framework and ensures strong commercial strategy, renewal execution, minimizing cancellations.
- Develops broad reaching executive relationships and aligns LSEG senior executives.
