We are looking for an energetic and dynamic FIX Onboarding support professional to join our global team. The candidate’s primary role will be responsible for certification and onboarding of FIX clients and brokers on our industry leading multi-asset class, multi-broker execution management system.
To be the ideal candidate you are comfortable with FIX protocol and passionate about solving complex problems. You have strong analytical and logical thinking capabilities, are well organized, detail oriented and have good time management skills. The right personality will match our ambitious, open, and focused culture, while putting the needs of our clients first and aiming to achieve the goals set by our management team.
Role Responsibilities:- Work with internal and external teams to understand bespoke business workflows and translate them into a software solution.
- Regularly communicate with the tech teams of clients/brokers and their technology vendors.
- Participate in various strategic projects ranging from the rollout of new functionalities on the platform to system improvements, regulatory changes, etc.
- Build knowledge of the financial marketplace and keep up with current industry trends.
- Contribute to knowledge management efforts.
- Complete required trainings - regulatory and otherwise.
- Be willing to work in rotational shifts including US hours.
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Excellent understanding of FIX protocol (version 4.2/4.4/5.0).
- Previous experience working with virtual teams to successfully deliver projects.
- Previous experience in a professional and client focused environment where detailed process/procedures, workflow are followed.
- Knowledge of Equities, Futures, and options asset classes.
- Exposure to OMS/EMS products and Electronic Trading domain.
- Familiarity with programming languages (C, C++, Java).
- Familiarity with Unix / SQL/Database/Perl/Python.
- Familiarity with networking protocols, VPN, Extranet connectivity, understanding of TCP/IP concepts.
- Previous experience with SharePoint, Confluence, Blueworks, Jira or Salesforce for documentation and issue management.
- Problem solving: defines a problem generates solutions and evaluates and identifies the best solution to overcome the problem.
- Initiative: Identifies what needs to be done and takes appropriate action without waiting to be asked.
