The Role

We are seeking a senior technology leader to drive key elements of the transformation of the SwapClear platform and its delivery model. The transformation objective is to improve the flow of value, engineering productivity, platform resilience, and scalability, ensuring technology enables both the protection and growth of the business. The position reports to the Head of SwapClear Engineering. They will work in close partnership with business leadership, as well as cross-functional teams spanning engineering, product, data, and operations, to contribute to and deliver a multi-year transformation agenda.

This role requires the ability to align diverse stakeholders, manage complex interdependencies, and drive delivery in a highly regulated, systemically important environment. The individual will shape and evolve the delivery operating model, ensuring it supports scalable, high-quality execution through empowered, autonomous teams and a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement. A key focus will be the transformation of the technology estate, including cloud migration, modernisation of the overall platform, and the evolution of build, test and release practices. The role will balance innovation and pace with the need for robustness, control, and regulatory compliance.
