The Content Transformation Program is building the Data Platform of the future for LSEG, redefining how to source, acquire, and master content. It is transforming to a cloud-based environment, improving capabilities, and modernizing infrastructure.
In this role, you will define, scope, and lead large, sophisticated programs across technology and the business, working with senior management to ensure business objectives are achieved.
Key responsibilities
- Technology delivery: Own the delivery across all technology teams throughout the end-to-end delivery chain, ensuring engagement of relevant architects for solution design and architecture alignment.
- Planning: Responsible for all technology planning activities, including sprint planning, backlog management, and quarterly planning, in collaboration with partners to ensure alignment with overall plans and roadmaps.
- Dependency management: Address impacts of dependencies in the project plan, aligning teams to project schedules.
- Risk and Issue Management: Lead risk and issue management proactively, making decisions to mitigate or resolve issues.
- Management & Leadership: Collaborate with delivery team members to ensure efficient and high-quality solutions.
- Team performance: Work with technology and business colleagues to optimize delivery timeliness, efficiency, and quality.
- Problem solving and decision making: Use good judgment and influencing skills to ensure timely discussions and decisions.
- Governance: Handle workstream governance, ensuring adherence to overall programme governance.
- Reporting: Provide regular, accurate progress reports using data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Communication: Collaborate with Project Management Office and Content & Feeds portfolio.
- Financial Management and Project Accounting: Monitor financial health, resource requirements, and funding across projects and programmes.
- Growth & Innovation: Embrace new techniques and methodologies for delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of complex project management experience, preferably in technical or engineering projects within a matrix environment.
- Ability to identify dependencies and risks.
- Experience in leading issue resolution and tackling complex problems across teams.
- Managing relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor\’s degree in engineering or 5+ years of related experience.
- PMP certification and Agile methodology experience preferred.
