The Senior Manager for Product Management Training & Enablement is accountable for handsâon design and delivery of product management training across the organisation, with a primary focus on bootcampâstyle programmes and instructorâled learning. The role leads the endâtoâend delivery of the Product Excellence Bootcamp, delivers structured training for Product Managers at different stages of development, and ensures that training translates into observable improvements in product practice and decision quality. This role does not own products or delivery teams. Its impact comes through direct facilitation, instructing, coaching, and practical application of product management skills at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Management Bootcamp â Primary Accountability
- Own the build, facilitation, and delivery of the organisationâs Product Excellence Bootcamp
- Deliver multiple bootcamp cohorts per year, including:
- Live instructorâled sessions
- Interactive workshops and simulations
- Practical, roleâbased exercises tied to real work
- Ensure bootcamp content is:
- Practical and experienceâled
- Aligned to product maturity and strategy
- Directly applicable in dayâtoâday PM roles
- Design and deliver standalone training modules across key product rigors, including:
- Product discovery and problem framing
- Strategy, prioritisation, and tradeâoff decisions
- Outcomeâbased road mapping and metrics
- Customer engagement and influence
- Ensure training converts into applied capability, not just knowledge transfer
- Develop followâups, clinics, and reinforcement sessions to support inârole use of learning
- Use coaching, peer learning, and case reviews to embed behaviours postâtraining
- Partner with Product Leaders to support application within teams
- Provide targeted 1:1 or smallâgroup coaching to reinforce training themes
- Focus coaching on:
- Applying tools taught in training
- Improving judgement and decisionâmaking
- Navigating real product challenges raised in sessions
- Own the trainingâready representations of product management templates, tools, and artefacts used in enablement programmes
- Ensure training materials:
- Dedicatedly reflect Enterprise PLM standards and artefacts
- Are easy to understand, instruct, and apply in practice
- Reinforce the behaviours and decision patterns encouraged of Product Managers
- Ensure accuracy, applicability, and consistency with enterprise standards
- Validate updates before use in training
- Provide structured feedback from training and classroom application to inform ongoing evolution of PLM artefacts

Skills & Experience
- Essential
- Senior experience in product management (Senior PM, Lead PM, Head of Product or equivalent)
- Validated experience crafting and delivering training to product or delivery professionals
- Strong facilitation skills with senior, experienceârich audiences
- Deep practical knowledge across product discovery, strategy, and delivery
- Credibility to challenge, coach, and teach experienced Product Managers
- Strongly Desirable
- Experience running formal product bootcamps or academies
- Trainâtheâtrainer or facilitation accreditation
- Experience embedding learning in large, sophisticated organisations
