An exciting opportunity has arisen in LSEG's Finance Function. Reporting to the division's Group Finance Director, you will partner with the Deep Data Operations leadership team and be integral to the Operations Division. Deep Data Operations develops, collects and manages content across the entire range of business lines & products within the D&A, Risk & FTSE Division as well as providing specialist expertise & support to customers both pre-and post-sale.
What you'll be doing:
- Trusted Partner and support on strategic decision making within the business.
- Use underlying trends, future business plans and external market factors to compile divisional forecasts, budgets and multi-year plans.
- Prepare or coordinate the division's monthly business performance report management accounts, including insightful commentary on YTD results vs budget and prior year.
- Work closely with the performance analysts.
- Review expense files & workings prepared by them and mentor analysts to increase ownership of recurring reporting and improve efficiency/quality.
- Support the Group Finance Director with coordination of the monthly business review.
- Closely partner the Group Leader of Deep Data Operations.
- Be a partner for senior executives to develop robust financial plans, drive performance management, and influence strategic direction through insights and analytics.
- Leading capital investment decisions, managing business cases, and tracking financial benefits to ensure value creation and return on investment.
- Navigating complex organizational transformations, aligning finance strategies with evolving product-led operating models and workforce restructuring, across Data Content Operations.

Skills:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar) with adequate post qualification experience.
- Ability to coordinate, build strong working relationships and help team members grow.
- Ability to build narrative to explain the numbers to business.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Drives timely closure of actions, follows up with partners, and removes blockers.
- Comfortable using modern analytics/automation tools; open to embracing new technology.
