Regulatory Reporting Solutions (RRS) and Post Trade Solutions (PTS) provide services under UKMIR, EMIR, and related authorisations. The Associate reports to the UK Senior Compliance Manager and collaborates with the EU Senior Manager and the Risk & Compliance officer to support the compliance framework for both RRS and PTS services, ensuring adherence to regulatory change as the businesses grow and expand.
Responsibilities
- Support monitoring of RRS and PTS compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies via a Compliance Monitoring Plan.
- Prepare management information that demonstrates ongoing compliance.
- Manage compliance procedures to ensure they are current and complete.
- Deliver training on specific compliance topics in partnership with the team.
- Contribute to regulatory projects as directed by the UK Senior Manager.
- Respond to regulatory enquiries promptly and with high quality.
Qualifications
- Good educational background, ideally a degree or equivalent level with relevant regulatory or industry qualifications.
- Previous exposure to regulations such as the FCA Handbook, EMIR reporting, MiFID/MiFIR transaction reporting, and experience managing working frameworks within a compliance or risk team.
- Desirable experience in liaising with regulatory authorities or working within a regulatory authority.
- Analytical and organisational skills with the ability to progress issues in a timely manner.
- Minimum of two years relevant industry experience with an investment firm, regulatory authority, or legal/consultancy firm.
