Leads a Programme Management Office for a key delivery programme, managing governance, risk, financials and reporting and drives a consistent and effective approach to project and programme management. The ideal candidate would be proactive & self-starter that has the confidence to question and challenge others where there is a lack of transparency, even with participants that may be more senior. They would be diligent, and strive to set high standards that enable success.

Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

  • Works with Portfolio/Programme/Project Managers to understand and lead risk within the programme and implements LSEG Group Standards for governance and risk management.
  • Supervises the programme pipeline, providing accurate resource demand and supply data to drive resource optimisation.
  • Financial governance and tracking of budgets and forecasts, working with the Project Managers to ensure clear, detailed and timely reporting for all budget consumption.
  • Prepares and distributes programme status reports, keeping management appraised of programme progress, major risks and issues and scope and resource changes.
  • Owns the annual programme budget request process and regular financial reviews to supervise key financial programme metrics.
  • Maintains and builds transparency around the comprehensive programme health and reporting, tracking and reducing delivery risk at a programme and portfolio level.
  • Ensures adherence to project management standards and frameworks, governance procedures and standard templates.
  • Builds and maintains a change roadmap for the programme and is responsible for the implementation of organisational change processes, policies and standards.
  • Owns the induction and training of all new project managers within the programme.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Significant previous PMO experience in a portfolio, project or programme management environment.
