The LSEG D&A Workflows business offers a range of digital workflow solutions that deliver financial insights to help enterprise finance professionals make actionable decisions across the investment and trade-lifecycle. Workflow solutions are a combination of LSEG’s leading content, advanced tools, and collaboration experiences – all of which are required to help users meet their daily objectives. Open Directory is an LSEG and Microsoft Teams collaboration experience that connects experts across wealth management, investment banking, sales & trading (sell-side), buy-side asset management, and related front / middle / back-office roles - spanning equities, fixed income, currencies, and credit. Our vision is to build a thriving networking community that helps finance professionals share knowledge, collaborate on industry challenges, and advance their careers. We are seeking a Product Leader to drive this vision – someone with deep financial services experience and a passion for community-driven growth. In this role, you will own the product strategy for user engagement and growth, leveraging best practices from successful communities in other industries (e.g. technology, developer networks, social platforms) to make our platform the go-to hub for finance professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Vision and Strategy: Contribute to the product roadmap for community features and growth specific to your region. Bring a regional lens to product roadmap and execution. Articulate a clear vision for how OD will evolve to serve financial services professionals in your region, incorporating cross-industry insights on what makes enterprise online communities flourish.
- User Engagement and Community Building: Design features and programs that drive active community engagement on the platform. Implement creative engagement strategies such as gamification, interactive content, and exclusive events to enhance user participation and loyalty.
- Growth and Acquisition: Own the user growth strategy for your region aligned with the product vision. Develop initiatives to onboard professionals and convert them into engaged members using organic and targeted outreach strategies.
- Community Product Design: Collaborate with product teams to develop community-centric features. Ensure platform integration with existing tools and continuously innovate using cross-industry best practices.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Work with internal teams and external partners to translate community vision into product features and go-to-market plans. Foster partnerships for mutual growth.
- Metrics & Analytics: Establish KPIs for community health and growth. Use analytics and feedback to inform product decisions and report on community success.

- Community/Network Product Insight: Proven knowledge of building active online communities or networks with features like gamification, user-generated content, and personalization.
- Data-Driven & User-Centric: Expertise in analyzing product metrics, running experiments, and gathering user feedback to inform product improvements.
- Cross-Industry Perspective: Creative mindset with awareness of community engagement trends across industries.
- Financial Services Expertise: Significant experience in financial services with understanding of front, middle, and back-office functions.
- Regional presence and expertise: Understanding of regional trends in Financial Services and collaboration platforms.
- Product Leadership Experience: 5-10+ years in product management with at least 2-3 years in a senior role.
