This role focuses on supporting risk initiatives within the SwapClear Risk Change team. The successful candidate will participate in the full project lifecycle, including design, feasibility research, and solution development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the delivery of risk-related projects.
- Designing and implementing solutions using Python, JavaScript and Django.
- Developing and maintaining valuation models and risk management frameworks.
- Creating efficient queries, managing data, and presenting results.
- Leveraging existing codebases while also building new components as needed.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across all levels of seniority.
Technical Architecture
- Design technical solutions leveraging existing code base and quant library.
- Create solutions with minimal complexity and optimal user experience.
Automated Testing
- Design and implement automated tests across the SwapClear estate.
- Ensure functional and system testing is cohesive and delivered effectively.
Process Improvement
- Enhance existing risk testing techniques through advanced automation.
- Identify and implement cross-functional efficiencies to reduce cost and speed up delivery.
Issue Management
- Own issues and drive resolution.
- Escalate appropriately to keep projects and programmes on track.
Implementation & Oversight
- Assist in functional implementation and testing.
- Provide oversight, support, and challenge business and technical decisions where necessary.
Risk Analysis
- Deliver timely and accurate analysis of risk issues.
- Advise senior stakeholders on approach, implementation, process improvement, and automation.
