Role profile: LSEG is in the process of launching and developing new Post Trade services which expand beyond the traditional core clearing businesses. As part of the effort to launch new products and services within the new Post Trade Division, LSEG is seeking to hire a Product Director, based in London, to develop and implement new services within the existing Equities OTC business.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Contribute to product strategy for the Equities business, initially focusing on fund level allocation processes, including customer engagement, solution design, roadmap planning in collaboration with other senior stakeholders and the Business Leads.
- Drives and maintains product strategy and design for fund level allocation service for equity derivative allocations as part of wider Equity TradeAgent strategy.
- Contributes to the vision and devising business plans for budgetary approval and product roadmaps with business leads.
- Contributes to project delivery teams, providing direction on scope, approach and go-to-market tactics.
- Develops a client training plan for product workflows.
- Conducts research on market evolution, client requirements and strategies.
- Works closely across divisions to market and manage new products.
- Responsible to help develop, mentor and coach colleagues to enhance the overall capability in the business and fostering the talent within the function.
Crucial experience and skills required:
- Detailed understanding and experience of OTC equity derivatives market, market infrastructure & contract life-cycle.
- Understanding of key market integrations; FIX, JSON, FPML, SFTP.
- Experience of implementing data management services that can transform high-volume of bespoke data in a sustainable method.
- Builds trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand their drivers and negotiate positive outcomes.
- Has experience of taking Products through their development lifecycle from idea generation to bringing a product to market.
- Interacts well with others, quickly establishing rapport building positive relationships and networks within existing TradeAgent Equities team.
Ideal experience:
- Significant experience in Global fund level allocations processes, with understanding of data flows, key risks and stakeholder priorities.
- Leadership roles in Operations or middle-office area, institutional investment manager, clearing organisation, or Fintech.
- Understanding of existing other Post Trade OTC trade processes including relevant market infrastructure and OTC Equity Derivatives.
