Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale cloud-native distribution infrastructure with high resilience and performance
- Own system design and data modelling for sophisticated, multi-schema relational databases
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code for reproducible, version-controlled, secure environments
- Design and implement test strategies across integration, contract, and end-to-end validation
- Build secure, well-documented APIs and data delivery services for institutional clients
- Lead technical direction through architectural guidance, code review, and pairing
- Collaborate with product, operations, and client-facing teams to translate requirements into robust solutions
- Key requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in system design, distributed systems, and relational data modelling
- Solid experience building and operating cloud-native applications on AWS
- Experience writing and maintaining infrastructure as code (Terraform or equivalent)
- Experience designing test strategies at multiple levels of the testing pyramid
- Proficiency with AI development tooling and using AI to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality
- Strong debugging skills across distributed systems
- Basic understanding of financial services or capital markets
- Effective collaboration and ability to communicate technical decisions to non-technical audiences
