FTSE Russell (LSEG) is transforming how Sustainable Investment (SI) data is gathered, managed, and delivered — building modern platforms that power index and data products used globally. We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Product Manager to own the end-to-end product lifecycle for our Sustainable Investment data platforms — from onboarding new data sources through to migration, delivery, and ongoing optimisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Communicating with diverse audiences, ranging from highly technical partners to business clients.
- Establishing credibility and build strong, confident, collaborative relationships with business and technology stakeholders including external parties, at all levels.
- Keeping abreast of and understand technology trends, see how they impact your roadmap, and how they drive innovation.
WHAT YOU'LL DOING:
- Define and own the product roadmap for SI data gathering, management, and distribution platforms.
- Own onboarding and lifecycle of data sources, from discovery and evaluation through to production readiness.
- Lead migration of datasets and workflows from legacy systems to strategic data platforms.
- Partner with engineering, operations, and commercial product teams to deliver scalable, reliable data capabilities.
- Drive data quality, coverage, and timeliness, ensuring products meet client and regulatory requirements.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in data product ownership / technology / business analysis / operations / application delivery in banking or financial domain.
- Exposure to commercial product and operations teams in the financial industry, ideally linked to Indexing/Funds.
- Experience with Sustainable data vendors and products (i.e. ESG indicators and scores, climate, carbon emissions, green revenues).
- Proven ability to take new data sources from discovery to production.
- Experience leading migration of datasets from legacy systems to target data platforms.
- Familiarity with data management and artificial intelligence applications in a business context.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Sustainable Investment / ESG data.
- Exposure to index, market data, or financial data products.
- Familiarity with data platforms (cloud, lakehouse, or warehouse) in a product context.
