ROLE SUMMARY: The Senior Manager / Director, Trading – Emerging & Frontier Markets is responsible for defining and delivering the Trading strategy across EFM, with a focus on proposition leadership, market development, and revenue growth. The role owns key Trading propositions including Auctions, Fixed Income Advanced Dealing, and FICC strategy, and acts as a senior advocate for the Trading business with clients, industry bodies, and regulators.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Lead the end-to-end Trading proposition across Emerging and Frontier Markets, from strategy definition, client validation and product delivery.
- Own product enablement, readiness, and launch governance, including coordination of internal approvals, risk, compliance, and regulatory sign-offs to ensure successful market entry and operational readiness.
- Define and drive regional product, content, and feature roadmaps, aligned to client needs, market structure, regulatory considerations, and commercial objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Product, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Sales) to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of Trading initiatives, including prioritisation and feature trade-offs.
- Leverage client feedback and market insight to increase adoption, retention, and recurring usage.
- Support business planning, investment prioritisation, and partnership decisions, including build-versus-buy assessments.
- Partner with Sales, Account Management and Customer Success Management teams to support client engagement, retention, and growth initiatives.
- Provide clear, structured strategy updates and progress reporting to senior management and governance forums.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- EFM Trading market expertise, significant experience across financial markets +15 years (including FX, Fixed Income, and/or Commodities) and a strong understanding of Emerging and Frontier Market structures, regulation, infrastructure, and client behaviour.
- Confirmed business builder, demonstrating success in driving market development and adoption across multi-jurisdictional environments.
- Value proposition to end-to-end execution, ability to anticipate market trends, identify and prioritise opportunities, and define, validate, and deliver propositions.
- Communication skills to articulate clear, logical strategies and progress updates to senior leadership.
