About Group Procurement
Group Procurement at LSEG manages third-party supplier engagements, partnering with the business to deliver high performance and sustainable value. Our operating model is built around business partnering and supplier relationship management (SRM), aligned to stakeholder groups and spend categories.
Role Purpose
This role supports the Category Director for Technology Services in executing category strategies and managing supplier relationships. It focuses on sourcing, supplier management, and business engagement, with a particular emphasis on handling Statements of Work (SOWs), purchase requests (PRs), and purchase orders (POs).
What You'll be doing
- Support delivery of category strategy and SRM programme in collaboration with Category Leads and Managers.
- Lead sourcing and negotiation for low to medium spend SOWs, ensuring commercial and legal compliance.
- Monitor and approve PRs/POs, ensuring alignment with procurement standards and onboarding protocols.
- Maintain visibility of the sourcing pipeline and ensure timely renewals and accurate scoping.
- Support SRM activities and manage assigned supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, HR) to resolve queries and ensure smooth procurement operations.
- Maintain procurement data and systems, including savings trackers and supplier databases.
- Oversee contract performance, draft variations, and ensure continuous improvement.
- Provide end-to-end support across the sourcing lifecycle, including exception handling and delivery assurance.
What We're Looking For
- Essential: Minimum 2-3 years of background in procurement with focus on IT professional services is preferred.
- Commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Strong IT skills (Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Ariba, Fieldglass).
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
- Team-oriented with a proactive work ethic.
- Educated to degree level.
Desirable:
- Working towards or already holding MCIPS.
- Familiarity with Agile SOWs, SLAs, and outcome-based contracting.
- Experience with large tech services suppliers.
- Background in FinTech or global organisations would be helpful.
- Exposure to e-sourcing and e-auctions.
