We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our team to support the management, development, and growth of our sustainable index product suite. This role reports to the Senior Product Manager and will play a key role in managing the product lifecycle of sustainable indices, coordinating product initiatives and acting as a product specialist for internal and external stakeholders.

ROLE SUMMARY:
  • Support the end-to-end management and development of the sustainable index product suite.
  • Coordinate product management and development activities, acting as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute as a product specialist to client-facing activity, product and marketing collateral as well as research insights including regulatory developments.
  • Bring strong sustainable finance expertise, project and stakeholder management skills, and an execution-focused mindset.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
  • Index Product Management: Support lifecycle management of climate & ESG indices, including tracking index performance and sustainability metrics, reviewing and drafting product documentation, conducting competitive analysis, identifying and resolving product issues, and helping ensure continued relevance and competitiveness.
  • Index Product Development & Enhancement: Work closely with the Research team to test and develop new product methodologies. Support the Sustainable Product team in delivering product initiatives, identifying product enhancement opportunities and engaging clients on the development of innovative and in-demand index solutions.
  • Execution & Delivery: Work across teams to coordinate delivery of new index launches and enhancements. Build deep expertise in sustainable index products and act as a product specialist.
  • Sales & Marketing Support: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Research teams to develop and refresh product collateral, training content, and research blogs. Support product-related queries from clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Market Research: Stay informed on market trends, regulatory developments, and sustainability standards to support product development.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other product specialists and managers, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team culture, and support delivery of a market leading approach to sustainable investing.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
  • A degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Economics, Environmental Studies, or a related field, and proven experience in sustainable finance or relevant industry experience in financial services.
  • Strong understanding of the sustainable investing market and climate & ESG integration frameworks.
  • Understanding of investment management and portfolio construction across asset classes.
  • Quantitative and financial proficiency with a high level of comfort working with datasets and quantitative information. Proficiency in Python and SQL would be desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to audiences with differing levels of domain expertise.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise multiple projects effectively and identify and escalate potential issues early on.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives with the ability to influence and work through others to get things done in a matrix organisation, and willingness to take on new responsibilities.
  • A self-motivated and results-oriented mindset, with initiative and a strong interest in advancing sustainable investing through index innovation.
