We are seeking a Business Lead to own and scale our Modelling Solutions business globally. This role is responsible for defining the commercial strategy, driving revenue growth, shaping the modelling solutions portfolio, and partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and Sales to deliver high-impact analytics solutions to clients.
As the global business lead, you will help set the direction for our Modelling Solutions proposition, engage directly with senior client stakeholders, and translate market demand into clear strategic priorities. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of client engagement, commercial strategy, and quantitative innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the business strategy: Define growth plans, commercial KPIs, and multi-year business roadmap for Modelling as a Service.
- Shape the value proposition: Establish market positioning and commercial roadmap for modelling services across asset classes and client segments.
- Develop deep client insight: Understand workflows across buy-side, sell-side, corporates, and infrastructure clients.
- Drive revenue growth and adoption: Partner with Sales to secure strategic accounts, expand high-value use cases, and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
- Lead strategic client conversations at a senior level: Engage on modelling needs, analytics workflows, and deliver compelling commercial proposals.
- Translate demand into business priorities and requirements: Understand modelling needs, analytics workflows, and deliver compelling proposals that align with client priorities.
- Set investment direction: Determine which models and analytics to build or enhance; develop business cases and commercial justification for product and engineering investments.
- Ensure governance and operational excellence: Maintain transparency, prioritization frameworks, and strong execution discipline.
- Monitor performance for commercial outcomes and continuously improve the MaaS offering.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver results and effective go-to-market.
- 10+ years in analytics, quantitative business, or financial markets with strong exposure to modelling-driven workflows.
- Proven track record in business leadership, commercial ownership, and strategic execution.
- Extensive experience influencing Sales, Product, Engineering, and Research teams.
- Strong domain expertise in quantitative modelling, risk analytics, and AI-enhanced modelling.
- Exceptional client-facing experience, with ability to lead senior conversations and influence stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of quantitative models, risk analytics, and the model development lifecycle.
- Ability to operate at senior level, drive vision and communicate outcomes effectively.
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $139,500 - $232,700. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
