The Manager – Procurement Automation and Analytics is responsible for accelerating automation and digital transformation across Group Procurement, reducing manual effort and improving operational efficiency at scale. Operating as an individual contributor within the Procurement Centre of Excellence (CoE), the role leads the design, build, and deployment of intelligent automation solutions using Agentic AI and Copilot, Power Platform, Power BI‑driven automation, and low‑code Python/R solutions. In parallel, the role owns core procurement analytics, including pipeline and savings reporting, spend and category dashboards, tiering and segmentation insights, and ad‑hoc analytical support for critical initiatives such as procurement performance management and pipeline automation. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in automation technologies and analytics platforms, enabling scalable, globally deployable solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and insight across procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and implement Agentic AI, Microsoft Copilot, and other AI‑driven automation opportunities.
  • Develop end-to-end solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Virtual Agents).
  • Build automated reporting and data processing flows using Power BI, including DAX‑based model enhancements and embedded automation.
  • Create and maintain Python/R‑based low‑code automation scripts to streamline data processing and reduce turnaround times.
  • Partner with global procurement team members to understand difficulties and translate business requirements into scalable automation solutions.
  • Drive adoption, provide user training, and support change management for deployed solutions.

Procurement Reporting & Analytics

  • Manage and update the Procurement Demand Management Tracker and associated reporting dashboards.
  • Oversee procurement savings reporting and support finance‑aligned analytics needs.
  • Maintain Spend Management dashboards and develop category‑specific reporting solutions.
  • Support Tiering & Segmentation processes and ensure effective GPS system application management.
  • Provide ad‑hoc analytical and project support, including deployment and operationalization of the Procurement Performance Management tool.
  • Support pipeline automation and reporting standardization initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field. Professional certifications in analytics or automation tools (e.g., Power Platform certifications, Python, AI/ML courses) are a plus.
  • Professional Experience: Hands‑on experience in procurement analytics, automation, digital transformation, or related fields. Proven experience designing and deploying automation solutions using Power Platform, AI/ML tools, or scripting languages. Strong background in procurement reporting, KPIs, spend analytics, or performance management frameworks. Experience working in a global matrix organization is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Automation & AI Tools: Copilot, Agentic AI frameworks, AI workflow orchestration. Microsoft Power Platform: Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI (including DAX, data modelling). Programming: Proficiency in Python or R (low‑code automation, data processing, API integration). Analytics & BI: Strong grasp of reporting automation, dashboard creation, and data visualisation best practices. Data Platforms: Experience with SQL, cloud‑based data sources, or procurement systems is an advantage.
