The Central Compliance team is part of the wider LSEG Compliance team and provides global support across all parts of the Group. The Director, Central Compliance will play a leading role in promoting the Group's strong culture of ethics and compliance. This position will lead a team of compliance specialists across a number of key areas including Conduct, Individual Accountability, Regulations Mapping, Compliance Policies and Training. This role reports to the Head of Central Compliance.

What You'll be doing:

  • Individual Accountability and Conduct Frameworks including the Senior Managers and Certification Regime and Whistleblowing.
  • Group Compliance Policies and oversight of regulated entity Compliance Policies.
  • Mandatory Compliance Training Programme.
  • Oversight of Compliance Risk Assessments, Entity/Licence Tracking and Regulations Mapping.
  • Lead on Strategic Compliance Projects and the Compliance response to other Group projects as required.
  • Support/develop colleagues in the team.

Key behaviours and skills required to be successful in the role:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience of working in a similar role within Financial Services Compliance, with a focus on implementing systemic approaches to repeatable processes, creating efficiencies, embracing new technologies and managing multiple workstreams in a changing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders inside and outside of the company to build strong relationships, influence direction and achieve results.
  • Ability to communicate with clarity and precision, presenting complex information in a format that is audience appropriate, including senior management reporting.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking, forming judgements and identifying solutions.
  • Versatile as the needs and demands of the team evolve.
