AI Senior Risk Manager in London

As a Senior Model Validator, you’ll focus on challenging and validating Generative AI use cases across the business. Your work will ensure models are robust, fair, and fit for purpose.

• Independently assess technical aspects of GenAI models and perform hands-on testing
• Design SME question sets tailored to different AI use cases
• Challenge development teams on use case design and testing methodology
• Identify and escalate risks, and collaborate on resolution plans
• Document validation outcomes in clear, structured reports
• Build strong relationships with model owners and developers in the First Line of Defence
• Adapt quickly to tasks of varying complexity and priority
• Support junior validation team

We’re seeking a developer or model risk expert with a strong foundation in AI and a passion for:

• Years of experience in AI development or model risk, including GenAI and NLP/ML
• Postgraduate degree (MS/PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields
• Solid theoretical knowledge of Predictive and Generative AI techniques
• Hands-on experience with GenAI model development and validation, including bias, fairness, and toxicity assessments
• Strong Python skills for modelling and analysis
• Familiarity with the full AI development lifecycle
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI research and emerging trends
