The Role: The LSEG Digital Design team is seeking a versatile, empathetic designer to own the UX on our LSEG enterprise experiences. We love turning our powerful data assets and tools into beautiful, innovative, and powerful experiences that meet our customers and colleagues needs. As a human centred team we craft high-quality user focused and re-usable experiences that satisfy user intent.
As a team we use digital tools to innovate, communicate, and share, while knowing the value of face-to-face meetings and when to be there in person to build networks and positively influence. This diverse, creative, multi-disciplinary team of Service Designers, UX designers, visual designers and front end developers will be your hive mind to build with, share ideas with and to learn from.
Imagine joining us to craft conceptual designs, customer journey maps, and finalised delivery out to colleagues and customers, defending your vision and design decisions along the way and balancing user needs, Brand experience, technical constraints and LSEG business needs into experiences that matter.
- Deliver innovative, end-to-end Service user experiences across LSEG's digital enterprise experiences.
- Inspire and provide creative designs that are beautiful, clear, useful, easy-to-use, innovative, and efficiently built.
- Be the advocate for user experience in discussions with business teams, development teams and leadership.
- Passionate, motivated, curious self-starter with a strong collaborative nature.
- Happy standing by your concepts but also in finding a way forward by collaborating with shared goals in mind.
- Giving life to your designs through customer journeys, wireframes, interactive prototypes, detailed design screens and break points for an agile team environment.
- Expertise in stakeholder management and workshop leadership over several months of in-depth service design development.
- You take joy in blending qualitative and quantitative feedback into your ideas.
- Expertise in user design principles, information architecture, heuristic analysis and search experiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and captivating storytelling skills.
- Detailed knowledge of user-centred design principles and a love of working them into your work.
- Skills in blending qualitative and quantitative data into designs.
- Flamboyance (or even just quiet confidence) in Figma.
- Agility in working within a multi-discipline team to find a way to a great solution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Service design, Interaction Design, Information Design, Product Design or equivalent professional experience.
- You’re organised and love attending to detail.
- Holding high design standards in a lean, fast-paced environment.
- Inclusive in your approach to design with empathy and accessibility on your mind as you work.
- Data first personas are intellectually stimulating to you and you cannot wait to start engaging with them to make a difference.
- You know your 'definition of ready' and when to size t-shirts.
