As Head of Commodities Trading Workflows, you will manage commodities product specialists, reporting to the Group Head of Workflows. You will devise and implement the LSEG commodities strategy across data, analytics and trading workflows. This includes the development of new trading capabilities, and implementation/ownership of desktop and feed solutions across Oil & Shipping, Power & Gas, Agriculture, Metals and Renewables markets.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Drive client engagement with a solutions-based product development approach.
- Development of new execution trading capabilities.
- Drive build-out of differentiated workflow solutions.
- Propose, scope and lead internal investments relating to desktop and feeds capabilities across data, analytics & workflows.
- Lead all aspects of the financial evolution of our commodities services.
- Develop and drive go-to-market strategies with Sales, Data and Product management.
- Drive development and strategy of Renewables services, working closely with the SFI team.
- Actively explore and recommend inorganic growth opportunities.
- Actively build and maintain individual relationships with key clients and partners.
- Advise and train our internal and external clients on LSEG's Commodities services.
- Report to main partners on market evolution, client requirements and strategies.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Platform background with detailed product knowledge of Oil & Shipping, Power & Gas, Carbon, Coal, Agriculture, Metals, Weather and Renewables markets.
- History of business leadership, managing teams and working closely with stakeholders.
- Full understanding of client workflows, including trade execution.
- Consistent track record of bringing solutions to market via desktop, feeds, SaaS and third parties.
- Strong understanding of the different forms of commodities analytics calculators and usage.
- Able to filter and transfer client challenges into requirements and solutions.
- Excellent client relationships.
- Outstanding verbal and written presentation, communication, marketing, and media skills.
- Able to work independently and follow up on responsibilities.
- Ability to catalogue data and gaps in data to complete workflows and data sets.
- Excellent strategy building skills, knowledge of management reporting and ability to control and focus on client service, revenues, and costs.
