ROLE SUMMARY: Reporting to the CEO, LCH Ltd and the COO, LCH Ltd, the role leads the strategic planning and operational activities for the effective and efficient running of the office of the CEO. This includes partnering with the CEO, the COO and the LCH Ltd leadership team to drive the coordination of activities needed to achieve strategic objectives, own the preparation of Board and internal committee papers and engagement, as well as partner across group functions to deliver against cyclical activities.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Inputting into and taking ownership for coordination of the preparation of all Board and internal committee packs, ensuring materials are prepared to the highest standards expected by the group, LCH Ltd Board, Bank of England and other regulators.
- Preparation of regulatory material will include effectively facilitating internal stakeholders to meet needs of regulators on a global level.
- Develop metrics for capturing, analysing and reporting the effectiveness of LCH Ltd to drive process improvement, change initiatives and issue resolution.
- Partnering with heads of business lines, COOs, Compliance and Risk teams to ensure the effective running and strategic, tactical and day to day delivery of LCH Ltd and its commercial objectives.
- Lead the coordination for objective setting process for LCH Ltd, partnering with the business lines and function heads to design objectives and KPIs, and lead performance assessment and reporting progress of performance against the objectives to the CEO and the COO.
- Role will be accountable for reporting to the group, boards and external forums the performance of LCH Ltd.
- Lead the delivery of daily operations, projects and facilities annual strategy setting for the office of the CEO.
- Represent the CEO as needed at Boards and internal forums as needed.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Extensive experience in a similar role or Chief of Staff for a CEO or large business head role in a regulated industry.
- Experience of working with Boards and senior levels of leadership.
- Extensive experience preparing Board level papers.
- Strong organisation and coordination skills with the ability to deliver multiple priorities to conflicting deadlines.
- Exposure to regulators, preferably within financial services / financial infrastructure.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
