The predicted salary is between 55000 - 65000 € per year.

The role is based in London and reports to the Director, EMEA Tax Leader. The position has overall responsibility for direct tax activities across a portfolio of UK entities, covering compliance, reporting and advisory work. The role also supports UK‑focused and wider EMEA projects and initiatives.

The role works closely with outsourced providers, the financial controller community, the business and colleagues across the wider tax team to help deliver the objectives of the tax function. Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing direct tax compliance for a portfolio of UK entities, including UK tax provisioning (group and statutory), tax returns, payments, audits and the identification of uncertain tax positions (UTPs). This work is supported by outsourced providers and requires close coordination across multiple internal and external teams, including offshore accounting services, to ensure timely and accurate provision of data for UK tax reporting.
  • Coordinating the Group’s UK Controlled Foreign Company (CFC) monitoring and review process, and the UK Corporate Interest Restriction (CIR) preparation and review, working closely with outsourced providers to ensure requirements are met.
  • Managing cash tax budgeting activities, including preparation of UK Quarterly Instalment Payments (QIPs) and group relief settlements, and engaging directly with HMRC on payments and refunds.
  • Supporting Pillar Two reporting and compliance requirements, including tax audits and other analysis related to entities within the portfolio, as well as supporting internal withholding tax (WHT) processes, including treaty rate application and monitoring of certification for credit relief.
  • Contributing to strategic projects, advisory work and ad hoc business requests as they arise.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • ACA, CTA or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in a multinational corporate tax environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP accounting frameworks, with an understanding of accounting systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with finance and non‑finance colleagues
