Role Overview

As Global Early Careers Lead, you will be accountable for the strategic direction and delivery of LSEG’s global early careers recruitment programmes, covering graduates, interns and apprentices across multiple regions. This is a high‐impact leadership role, responsible for ensuring early careers hiring delivers against business demand, workforce planning priorities and long‐term critical skills need – particularly within technical and specialist talent areas. You will lead a global team of early careers recruiters and employer brand specialists, partner closely with senior stakeholders across the business, and use data and insight to continuously improve recruitment outcomes. This role suits someone with deep early careers expertise or a Senior TA leader with strong experience hiring talent at scale, who can quickly apply that knowledge to early careers populations.

What You'll be doing

  • Strategy & stakeholder partnership
    • Lead global early careers demand planning with People Partners, business leaders and Finance
    • Develop and deliver a global early careers recruitment strategy aligned to broader talent objectives and workforce plans
    • Review and approve campaign changes, such as cohort size or intake adjustments
    • Provide clear advice and solutions to senior stakeholders
  • Delivery & continuous improvement
    • Lead end‐to‐end recruitment campaigns from attraction to onboarding
    • Use best practice and market insight to shape inclusive hiring approaches
    • Improve processes for high‐volume hiring, including requisition and onboarding stages
    • Provide support during peak hiring periods
    • Act as a subject‐matter expert on early careers hiring trends, assessment approaches and global best practice
  • Data, budget & governance
    • Use data to track performance, including diversity, quality and campaign outcomes
    • Manage recruitment budgets across attraction, assessment and delivery
    • Work with Finance on cost management and allocation
    • Partner with suppliers, including performance and commercial terms
  • People leadership & brand
    • Lead and develop a global team, creating a collaborative and high-performing inclusive culture
    • Represent LSEG at events and key programme moments
    • Support major programme activities such as inductions and talent events

What You'll bring

  • Essential
    • Senior recruitment, early careers or talent acquisition experience.
    • Leadership experience hiring talent globally, with the ability to apply this to early careers hiring if no prior experience in early careers
    • Strong understanding of attraction, selection and assessment approaches for early careers or entry‐level talent
    • Ability to translate business demand into clear recruitment plans and strategies
    • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including experience working with senior leaders
    • Experience in demand planning, recruitment analytics and budget management
    • Demonstrated team leadership experience in a global or matrix environment
    • Aware of emerging trends such as AI in early careers recruitment
  • Desirable
    • Experience hiring early careers talent into engineering & technology
    • Familiarity with structured assessment frameworks and providers
