Job Description
The D&A Head of Partnerships & Redistributions reports to (DLT member)Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Develop and lead D&A’s partner strategy, including technology alliances, distribution partners, resellers, consultants, and strategic co-innovation relationships. Define and build a tiered partner ecosystem – including redistribution products and partnership, strategic alliances, channel/distribution partners, and co-sell/co-build partners. Design the partner operating model, including engagement frameworks, value propositions, commercial models, incentive structures, and success metrics. Drive net-new revenue through partner-originated and partner-influenced sales and align ecosystem strategy with product innovation and new market development to accelerate growth. Identify whitespace opportunities and innovation pathways via partnerships – co-develop new products (including in alternative data), expand into adjacent markets, and test new distribution models. Identify and assess targets that fill strategic gaps in capability, market, or technology. Implement tools and platforms to support scalable pricing, deal structuring, partner engagement, and revenue forecasting.Success measures: Revenue growth from both direct and partner-influenced channels accelerated. Partner ecosystem expanded with clear structure, operating model, and revenue contribution.Scope includes: Partner Team Partner Deal Structuring P/L, product and commercial ownership of dedicated redistribution products (e.g. Knowledge Direct) Commercial ownership of redistribution elements of Datascope, Real Time, QA and Lipper productsScope does not include: RI, FTSE Russell or Capital Markets Partnerships LSEG Microsoft Partnership Consulting & Professional Services Team In-bound partners (i.e.
content contributors, exchange relationships, brokers)WHAT YOU'LL BRING:Broad experience, with multiple strengths across the following;Functional Knowledge: Track record of delivering user-focused and data-driven product experiences that propel customer satisfaction and business growth. Product-Led: Management experience in top tier product organizations (MAMAA), and/or experience leading a cultural change at a firm that became a product-led organization. The candidate should be able to demonstrate how they have led or transitioned firms (including agile culture change) to a product-led culture Prior experience running product portfolios rather than just single products, with a clear perspective on how product portfolios should be managed to accelerate time to value, maximize upselling opportunities, whilst simultaneously reducing cost to achieve and ongoing cost of ownership. Product knowledge – some understanding of Capital Markets and the associated products used by our customer and an appreciation for future demand / requirements. Deep understanding of a product led organisation structure and ways of working. An understanding of a data and feeds business and/or experience creating workflow toolsBusiness Experience: Strong business acumen and the ability to align product strategies with financial and operational goals. Understanding of external competitor models and services to support continuous development and related activities. Experience designing alternative business models that are aimed at accelerating the combination of revenue and shareholder value growth. The candidate should be confident in discussing the pros and cons of legacy and transformational business models, and the cultural and organizational implications thereof. Deep understanding of fintech trends, technologies, and regulatory frameworks.Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
