A subject matter expert in Central Securities Depository Regulation (CSDR) with strong experience in post-trade infrastructure and financial markets compliance. This role is critical to ensuring that the Digital Securities Depository (DSD) meets all regulatory requirements while enabling innovative product development.
The successful candidate will lead the DSS Gate 2 application process, ensuring timely and accurate submission, and will be embedded in product workshops and design sessions to advise on compliance implications and regulatory feasibility. This individual will act as the bridge between product teams and Compliance, ensuring that solutions are both compliant and commercially viable.
Role Responsibilities:- Own and manage DSS Gate 2 submission, including documentation, evidence gathering and regulatory engagement
- Develop sustainable compliance frameworks and controls for digital securities workflows
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure timely updates to product design and governance
- Provide expert guidance on CSDR and its impact on product design and operating models
- Deep expertise in CSDR and post-trade infrastructure preferred but not essential
- Proven experience in regulatory submission and compliance oversight within financial market infrastructure
- Strong understanding of securities lifecycle (issuance, settlement, custody) and operational models
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable product specifications
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience in client-facing discussions
- Strategic mentality with attention to detail and ability to influence cross-functional teams
