Reporting to the UK Senior Compliance Manager, the Associate will support the compliance framework of Regulatory Reporting Solutions (RRS) and Post Trade Solutions (PTS) services, ensuring adherence to regulations as the businesses grow and adapt to regulatory change.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor RRS and PTS continued compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies via a Compliance Monitoring Plan.
  • Prepare management information demonstrating compliance status.
  • Maintain and update compliance procedures.
  • Deliver training on specific compliance topics as part of the team.
  • Contribute to regulatory projects as directed by the UK Senior Manager.
  • Respond to regulatory enquiries promptly and to a high quality.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Good educational background, ideally a degree or equivalent, with regulatory/industry qualifications.
  • Previous exposure to regulatory frameworks such as FCA Handbook, EMIR reporting, MiFID/MiFIR transaction reporting or similar.
  • Experience liaising with regulatory authorities or working within a regulatory authority.
  • Minimum of two years relevant industry experience with an investment firm, regulatory authority or legal/consultancy firm.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to progress issues on a timely basis.
