Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the end-to-end architecture and design of CPQ solutions across CRM and quote-to-cash platforms.
  • Provide CPQ domain leadership across product configuration, pricing, quoting, approvals and downstream revenue processes.
  • Work with business partners and project teams to define solutions aligned to CRM engineering and enterprise architecture direction.
  • Evaluate CPQ, CRM and quote-to-cash technology options to inform future-state architecture decisions.
  • Assess the current Salesforce CRM and Salesforce CPQ landscape and define transition options for the agreed future-state CPQ architecture.
  • Provide technical solution leadership, including hands-on support for CPQ configuration, integration design, prototyping and validation of solution options.
  • Lead CPQ transformation planning, including platform assessment, migration strategy and target-state design governance.
  • Produce solution architecture artefacts and present designs at architecture review boards.
  • Explain complex technical matters clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 8+ years in solution architecture across CRM, CPQ and quote-to-cash domains.
  • 5+ years of CPQ architecture experience across enterprise CPQ platforms.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM and Salesforce CPQ; experience with Agentforce Revenue Cloud or alternative platforms such as ServiceNow CPQ / Logik.ai, ServiceNow Sales & Order Management, Apttus/Conga CPQ or Oracle CPQ is highly desirable.
  • Good understanding of the end-to-end quote-to-cash journey, including product catalogue, configuration, pricing, approvals, contracting, fulfilment and revenue hand-offs.
  • Experience converting business requirements into scalable CPQ solution designs, using standard platform capabilities where possible and extensions or integrations where required.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ configuration, Lightning, Apex, APIs and integrations or industry equivalents such as ServiceNow CPQ / SOM configuration, Flow Designer, scripting and IntegrationHub experience is desirable.
  • Experience in CPQ transformation, platform evaluation, migration planning or target-state solution design is essential.
