Role Responsibilities
- Collaborate across business functions to identify, shape, and deliver processes.
- Provide data and technology solutions that align with business needs and strategic goals.
- Support the development of business cases by assessing benefits, risks, and financial impacts.
- Investigate and document current business challenges and requirements, capturing relevant information to support effective change.
- Map and analyse current and future business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Model business requirements to ensure they are complete, clear, and approved by stakeholders.
- Ensure information from various sources is condensed and accessible.
- Take a holistic approach to business analysis, considering people, processes, technology, diversity and organizational context to uncover improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with change management teams to support the successful implementation of change.
- Act as a liaison between business teams, suppliers, and technology partners to foster strong, collaborative relationships.
- Lead and support business change and continuous improvement initiatives, promoting best practices and innovation.
- Contribute to the development of business analysis tools, templates, and frameworks to enhance the effectiveness of the function.
Success Criteria
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong track record of delivering change across systems, processes, and data in complex, multi-layered environments.
- Understanding of project and portfolio management (P3) principles, with experience in reporting, data analysis, and use of PPM tools.
- Experience working across both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with flexibility to adapt analysis approaches to suit project needs.
- Skilled in business process modelling, benefit case development, and supporting the realization of business value.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret legacy systems and assess impacts of change.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Relevant qualifications such as BCS International Diploma or project/change certifications are desirable.
