London Stadium are looking for a Facilities Operative to join the team and support the day-to-day operation, presentation and readiness of the venue. This is a practical, site-based role, supporting both business-as-usual activity and the delivery of major events.

As Facilities Operative at London Stadium you will be a practical, proactive and organised individual who enjoys working in a hands-on operational environment. You will have strong communication skills, be comfortable working with contractors and a range of stakeholders. You will take pride in maintaining high standards across the venue and be committed to contributing to a working and learning environment.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of the stadium through day-to-day operations, a variety of projects and exciting events such as football, concerts, Major League Baseball, athletics, rugby and community events. This role will be varied and give you the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the operational readiness and presentation of the stadium through regular site inspections and defect reporting working with our Total FM partner.
  • Coordinate venue logistics, including furniture, barriers, storage and operational equipment.
  • Support event infrastructure, power overlay, venue changeovers and match-day operations.
  • Support planned and reactive maintenance, statutory inspections and facilities activities.
  • Coordinate and monitor contractors working across the venue.
  • Promote high standards of health, safety, security and safe working across the venue.
